On March 28, 2015, I had the honor of hosting the 2nd Annual Work Your Package™ Women’s Conference. If you told me three years ago that not only would I host my own conference but I would also look forward to it, I would have looked at you like you had, at the very least, 5 heads. The amount of pressure to plan and execute a full-day conference can be enough to make you throw your hands up in the air and say “Forget it!” When I felt like that I had to remember why I planned the first one and why I decided to do the second conference and why I’ve already secured a location for the 2016 conference. Simply stated, I am a maven. I was created to gather information (subject matter experts) and share it others (conference attendees). As I told this year’s attendees during my afternoon keynote, Work Your Package™ is not a fad or a phase that I’m going through. I’ve been sharing the “work your package” message for years before I had a name for it. Twenty years from now, I’ll still be telling women and men to “work” their package. It will be my legacy, one that my daughters will be proud to speak of and hopefully continue.
