Tonya Davis-Taylor, LMSW, FDLC, SIFI is the Founder and CEO Transform-Simply by Doing, LLC where her goal is to assist Women of Color on their transformational journey. Ultimately, she is here to support Women of Color increase their sustainability, build leadership capacity and to foster a network of interdependence with other women of color leaders. She is a licensed Master Social Worker, manager, career & executive coach, trainer and consultant with a private practice in New York City. Tonya is a thought leader in the social services industry and agent for Transformational Leadership. She has more than 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, companies and non-profit organizations. Currently she serves as the Assistant Vice President at NY Foundling.
Tonya received her Master Degree from Fordham University Graduate School for Social Service with a concentration in research and a Specialization in Children and Family Services. She also holds a Bachelors’ of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Most recently, Tonya completed IGNITE Fellowship for Women of Color in the Social Sector and Stand in your Power transformational Leadership Program Tonya is the recipient of numerous academic awards and honors including the ACS leadership Development Scholarship, Ronald E. McNair Scholarship as well as the Thurgood Marshal Scholarship.
Tonya’s passion is people. Her desire is to inspire all of her clients to achieve their personal best; to begin to change the dynamic of their stories to not only include the hurt, trauma, and suffering, but their triumph of healing, hope, and reconciliation. Tonya lives in NYC with her two young adult children.
Tonya is currently writing her first book “Transform, Simply by Doing-Nothing new Just my Perspective”.
